Trim 1–2 inches
Cut each stem at a 45° angle with a sharp knife or shears. A fresh angled cut reopens the stem so it can drink freely.

Hydrate deeply
Place the stems in a clean vase filled with room-temperature water. Let them rehydrate for a few hours before arranging — this is when the blooms wake up.

Use flower food
Stir in the included flower food. Change the water and re-trim the stems every two days to keep bacteria from blocking hydration.

Strip lower leaves
Remove any foliage that sits below the waterline. Submerged leaves break down quickly and shorten vase life.

Place them well
Keep your roses out of direct sunlight, away from heat vents, and away from ripening fruit. Cool rooms keep blooms tight and elegant longer.
